Colin is an accredited mediator. As a former trade union official, much of his work involved attempting to resolve disputes between members and their employers. This included individual as well as collective disputes as well as negotiating pay and conditions at a regional and national level. Colin has a wealth of litigation experience and now believes that mediation is a sensible and cost-effective alternative to litigation enabling parties to find their own solution to a problem. Although much of his practice now involves human rights and civil liberties as a lawyer he has a great deal of expertise in the fields of personal injury, employment and discrimination.
