Catrin has over 18 years’ experience as a practising barrister representing clients in employment tribunals, before disciplinary/regulatory bodies, County Courts, High Court and beyond. Catrin trained as a mediator in 2007. Catrin brings her experience as a practitioner and as a part-time Employment Judge to mediation together with her calm and authoritative manner. She is skilled at understanding what motivates people.
Catrin believes mediation is an effective way of allowing parties to find their own solutions to disputes that avoid the stress, expense and uncertainty of litigation. In UK Mediation Journal Catrin describes how mediation has a role to play in resolution of grievances in the workplace.
Workplace and employment disputes as well as complaints of discrimination are among Catrin’s areas of particular expertise. Catrin has been involved in numerous mediations and mediates across a wide variety of civil and commercial disputes.
